Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how HomeGrip collects, uses, and discloses information when you use its text-based home-service coordination pilot.
Information we collect
- Contact and messaging information: your mobile number, SMS or MMS messages, and messaging consent and opt-out status.
- Request information: the home-service need you describe, answers to clarification questions, businesses considered, and the results we report to you.
- Call and service information: call status, provider responses, transcripts or recordings made available by our calling providers, delivery status, and operational logs.
- Operator information: limited account and authentication information for authorized HomeGrip administrators.
How we use information
We use information to understand and coordinate your request, ask necessary questions, contact businesses, prepare and send results, operate and secure HomeGrip, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with applicable law.
Mobile information and messaging consent
We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number, text messaging originator opt-in data, or messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Message frequency varies based on each request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel messages or HELP for assistance.
When information is disclosed
We may disclose only the information reasonably necessary to operate the service:
- To service providers that supply messaging, calling, hosting, authentication, AI processing, monitoring, and related infrastructure.
- To businesses you ask HomeGrip to contact, to the extent needed to obtain relevant information for your request.
- When required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when necessary to protect users, the public, or the service.
- As part of a reorganization or transfer of the service, subject to this Policy and applicable law.
These operational disclosures do not include sharing your mobile opt-in data or consent for third-party marketing.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the pilot, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Your choices
You may stop SMS or MMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply START to resubscribe or HELP for assistance. You may also use the HomeGrip number to request access, correction, or deletion of your information; legal and operational retention requirements may limit some requests.
Children
HomeGrip is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as the pilot evolves. The effective date above will reflect the latest version. For privacy questions or requests, text HELP to the HomeGrip number you used.
